Star Ocean - 612 pages of Japanese text entertainment. For those who don't know, I like to print out scripts when I work on them. I can go through them much quicker that way. I can write notes on the side, I can scribble stuff out, but most importantly, it's a lot easier to see how much you've done and how much you've got left, and it's a lot easier to stick to a routine. I basically did about 60 pages a day for about 2 weeks. The last day I had to do 80 or so. Then it took me another week to type it into a file.

Anyway, below are pics of the script, along with a bottle of aspirin I used frequently. Good job to Dark Force and whoever else was involved with the creation of the game's table - there was like only 1 kanji that was wrong, which made it much nicer to work on.

I've played this game so much now that I'm getting real tired with it. Also, having seen all the text in the game sort of took some of the fun out of the game. It's still a very cool game though.

These 612 pages were just for the game's script. Add 100+ for the rest of the text, like enemies, items, item descriptions, menus, etc.
