Middle Aged men go pick up 13 year old girls who are dressed in schoolgirl uniforms and take them to love hotels for the day. Then they...well, you get the idea.

And the only reason Falc's gonna go to Japan, right?Actually it's just a small type of holiday for younger girls until maybe they're 12 or 13 or 14 or so. I wasn't a little girl when I was in Japan so I dunno exactly what it is but they of course dress up the girls in pretty kimono and they have little girl dolls you put in your house and stuffage.

I got a present from my Japanese teacher on Girl's Day years ago. A subtitled version of Kiki's Delivery Service, I swear I must have that movie memorized (Japanese dub AND English subtitles) by now...

I love Kiki's Delivery Service. It's got to be one of my favorite movies and it has pretty darn good dubbing. I think (but don't quote me on this) I remember hearing that Girl's Day started because people would use the dolls as decoys to get the bad luck that would have otherwise gone to their daughters. The dolls would be thrown out after the day was over and the bad luck would go with them. Over time, though, people sort of forgot what it was about and the dolls were cute, so people don't always throw them out anymore.
