Chapter 1 The Beginning
Several years have passed, and now a resistance movement is about
to begin. The first objective is to take back Kahna's former
flagship from the Empire.
|
This game has tons of hidden items. Be sure to check EVERYTHING, all boxes, jars,
crates, beds, tables, bookcases, desks... everything. Here's a good example
of the really weird places the programmers hid stuff... Walk up into this little
walkway here and you'll automatically get some items! Didn't even have to press A to
get them! There are several other spots like that throughout the game, so be
sure to walk in out-of-the-way spots too!
|
This is your first chance to start feeding dragons. Don't waste too many of your items
right now though - you'll need them for the coming battle and probably the next
chapter too. At this point it's okay to let your dragons just get stronger naturally
through level ups. Also in the next chapter you'll learn the basics of raising your
dragons, so unless you've already played the game, don't spend too much time with the
dragons right now.
|
This is the pre-scenario screen. Here you can do all kinds of things like change
your equipment, formation, check your inventory, and the like. At the moment you
can't do a whole lot, but as the game goes on more of these options will become
available to you. My only advice is that you equip Byuu with a sword and equip
whatever other equipment you won in the prologue battle on whoever can wear the
stuff.
|
This chapter's battle isn't too hard. There are a lot more enemies than before,
but you also have an extra dragon and some extra party members, so they even out.
I recommend you defeat all the enemies and save the boss for last, so you can
get as many items and as much experience as possible. But if you're short on
time, all you need to do in this scenario is defeat the boss.
